In 1913, Professor Eleanor D. Wood presented a paper at the Society of Biblical Literature on Biblical archaeology (illustrated by the stereo-opticon), and in 1917 Professor Louise Pettibone Smith published an article on Isaiah in the Journal of Biblical Literature. Smith also delivered a paper at a meeting in 1918.
