Annotationes in Novum Testamentum <Latin> (1641-1650) is a book by Hugo Grotius.
Abstract
This work marks a major step forward in post-Reformation exegetical studies of the New Testament. Grotius seeks here to study the simple literal meaning of the texts. Besides referring to patristic exegesis, parallels from Greek and Roman literature are also cited.
