La passione di Cristo <Italian> / The Passion of Christ (1924) is a play by Alberto Colantuoni.

Abstract

"Tragedia biblica in tre parti, ricavata dalle Sacre Scritture, in occasione dell'anno santo del 1925."

The play (starring Alberto Capozzi as Jesus of Nazareth) had great success in Milan, but was sharply criticized in Rome and was finally forbidden by the Vatican.
