Solomon (1749 Haendel), oratorio
Solomon (1749) is an oratorio by Georg Frideric Haendel (mus.). The anonymous libretto is based on the biblical stories of Solomon from the First Book of Kings and the Second Book of Chronicles with additional material from Flavius Josephus.
