Andreas Gottlieb Hoffmann

Andreas Gottlieb Hoffmann (1796-1864) was a German Protestant theologian and Orientalist at Jena University, a leading authority on Syriac and Hebrew languages, and the author of the first German translation of 1 Enoch.
