Abstract

One of the earliest and longest treatments of 1 Enoch included a German translation of Laurence's English version and introduction, as well as an original German translation from the Ethiopic based on 1 ms. for chs. 1-59 (Oxford); and 2 mss. for chs. 60-108 (Oxford, Frankfurt), with philological and explanatory notes.
