Overview

In 1931 Bruno Ducati published the first Life of Muhammad in Italian. After his translation of the Qur'an, Luigi Bonelli authored a critical edition of the Arabic text in 1937. Works by Émile Dermenghem and Tor Andræ were also translated into Italian.
