The Light of the World (1854) is a painting by William Holman Hunt, at Keble College, Oxford, England.

The quintessential Pre-Raphaelite image of Jesus, by one of the founders of the Brotherhood. Painted for the parish of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Ewell, is now in a side room off the large chapel at Keble College, Oxford. Towards the end of his life, Hunt made a large copy of the painting, which is now in St Paul’s Cathedral, London.
