Heniek Kaliksztajn was born on June 9, 1931 in Strzemieszyce.

There is of picture of his, wearing a prisoner uniform (circa July 1945). The photo is inscribed to "my friend Berek". The children went to a photo studio in Weimar?, Germany asking for a portrait of themselves in uniform.
