Paulus von Tarsos: Ein Mann in 2 Welten [English title: The Tentmaker, and The Cross and the Eagle] is a novel by Julius Berstl.

Editions and translations

Written in German, was first published in English, translated by Clarissa Graves, in two separate volumes: The Tentmaker (London: 1951) and The Cross and the Eagle (London 1954). Then published in Germany (Stuttgart: Quell, 1965).

Summary

Tells the experience of Paul, from his youth as a sixteen-year-old student at Jerusalem until his conversion and return to Tarsus, and from the beginning of his missionary activity until his death
