Otto Eissfeldt (1887-1973) was a German scholar.

Biography

PhD (1916) from the University of Göttingen. Professor (1913-1922) in Berlin and then (1922-1957) at the University of Halle-Wittenberg. Visiting Professor at the University of Tübingen.
