Editions and translations

Published in Tübingen: Mohr, 1934. In 1956 (2nd ed), and 1964 (3rd ed.) the work was revised and expanded by the Author to include the newly discovered Qumran texts. The so-called 4th ed. (1976), published after the death of the Author, was an unchanged reprint of the 3rd ed.
