Italian American Studies (Governor)

The Italian origins of Rodney, Paca and Longino (often mentioned as the first Italian American governors) are dubious and in any case, distant. Poletti was the first governor to have close Italian ancestry. Ella Tambussi Grasso was the first Italian American woman to be governor.
