Scipione Sgambati / Scipio Sgambatus (1595-1652) was an Italian scholar, Roman Catholic priest, Jesuit. Born in Naples, Italy, entered the Jesuit Order in 1611. For many years taught Holy Scripture and Theology in VIenna, Austria. His commentary on the Old Testament, posthumously published in 1703, included the Greek fragments of 1 Enoch by George Syncellus.
