For the Temple (1888) is a novel by George Alfred Henty.
Abstract
“A Tale of the Fall of Jerusalem.” The hero enters the service of Josephus, leads a band of guerrillas, fights for the Temple, is a slave in Alexandria, and returns to Galilee with the favor of Titus. Juvenile audience.
