An introduction to the OT Pseudepigrapha.
After a general introduction, the volume devotes detailed chapters to eight "Jewish or Early Christian" pseudepigrapha--the Psalms of Solomon, 1 Enoch, the Assumption of Moses, 2 Baruch, the Testaments of the Twelve Patriarchs, the Book of Jubilees, the Ascension of Isaiah, and the Sybilline Oracles.
The approach is positive: the AuthorsPseudepigrapha - it is said - were written "not to deceive, but to conciliate favour."
