Biography

Ernesto Lebovits was born October 24, 1943 in Ferramonti (near Cosenza), Italy, to Slovak refugees Anton Lebovits and Blanka Schwarz. Father, mother and brother Lewi were among the passengers of the Pentcho Ship, arrived at Ferramonti from Rhodes on February 12, 1942. The family was liberated in Ferramonti in Sept 1943. They emigrated to Palestine in May 1944.
