Paulus von Tarsos: Ein Mann in 2 Welten <German> (1951) is a novel by Julius Berstl.
Abstract
Tells the experience of Paul, from his youth as a sixteen-year-old student at Jerusalem until his conversion and return to Tarsus (part one), and from the beginning of his missionary activity until his death (part two).
Editions and translations
Written in German in two parts, was first published in English, translated by Clarissa Graves. The second part was published first: The Tentmaker (1951 Berstl), novel; the first part followed, The Cross and the Eagle (1954 Berstl), novel. The German edition appeared only in the 1960s in Germany (Stuttgart: Quell, 1965).
