{--} Newspaper Boy [1] (India, 1955), directed by P. Ramdas.

Influenced by Italian neorealism, the film narrates the life of the common man on the street.

Though the film had a shoestring budget, featured mostly amateur actors, and was made by an inexperienced crew of students, it was a critical success.
