Abstract

This TV adaptation of Alcott's novel for CBS-TV was part of the series "Studio One." It chronicled the lives of the March sisters (Jo, Meg, Amy, and Beth) in Concord, Massachusetts, during the 19th century.

Part I (Meg's Story), directed by Paul Nickell, was aired on Dec 18, 1950. Part II (Jo's Story), directed by Lela Swift, was aired on Dec 25, 1950.
