Eskil Petraeus (1593-1657) was a Swedish-born Finnish scholar. The Bishop of Abo was part of the team which in 1642 published the first Finnish edition of the Bible, and the author of the first Finnish grammar (Linguae Finnicae brevis institutio, 1649).
