NOTES : Rudi Oppenheimer was born in 1931 in Berlin, Germany, as well as his brother [[Paul Oppenheimer]] (1928-2007). Their sister [[Eve Oppenheimer]] instead was born in England in 1936. The family moved to the Netherlands. In June 1943, they were all sent with their parents to [[Westerbork]] and from there in February 1944 to [[Bergen-Belsen]]. Both parents died in the camp for illness. In May 1945, shortly before Belsen was liberated, the siblings were put on the [[Troibitz Train]].
