Robert Henry Pfeiffer (1892-1958) was an American scholar.
Biography
Born in Bologna, Italy. Received his MA and PhD from Harvard Univeristy. Ordained Methodist minister in 1916. Held a pastorate in Sanborn, New York, from 1916 to 1919. Hired as Professor at Harvard in 1922. Author of one of the most influential introductions to Second Temple Judaism.
