Translations of the Bible into Russian
Overview
There is memory of two old translations of the Bible in Russian. The first by Franciscus Skorina (1490-1541), was made in Belorusan dialect around 1525 ('Bilblia Ruska"). The second, by Ernest Gluck, was completed at the end of the 17th century. Both translations are lost.
