William Whiston

William Whiston (1667-1752) was a British scholar, theologian, historian and mathematician. From his study of the Apostolic Constitutions derived the opinion that Arianism was the original creed of the early Church. His translation of the works of Josephus became standard in the English world, being still used and often reprinted.
