Died on July 19, 1935. Drews advocated a radical version of the [[Jesus Myth Theory]], claiming that there is no evidence of the existence of Jesus as a historical figure. His position was motivated by a virulent antisemitism who led him to support the rise of the German Faith Movement, a form of neo-Pagan Aryanism meant to replace both Judaism and Christianity.
