Born 1931 in Radun (near Baranowicze), Poland. Son of Abram Cukier and Chawa Mendelewicz.

"On 7 May 1942, the Byelorussian militia from the Minsk district surrounded the town ... I hid with my uncle ... We joined up with a partisan unit of 150 people ... On 25 August 1943 I joined the Invincibles Company of the Lenin Partisan Brigade and was discharged on 12 July 1944 in consequence of the arrival of the Red Army".

Biography

Born 1931 in Radun (near Baranowicze), Poland. Son of Abram Cukier and Chawa Mendelewicz.

"On 7 May 1942, the Byelorussian militia from the Minsk district surrounded the town ... I hid with my uncle ... We joined up with a partisan unit of 150 people ...
