Judas (2004) is a TV film (sound, color, 120m), directed by Charles Robert Carner.

Abstract

"Judas Iscariot is a lowly wine seller with a fiercely rebellious streak. Resentful of the treatment of his people by the Romans, Judas wants radical action. Hearing rumors of a Messiah, Judas senses the time has come. He seeks out Jesus, who preaches love, heals the sick and rocks the boat. Welcomed into his band of disciples, Judas is at once in awe of Jesus. But tensions soon surface. While Jesus draws on spiritual powers, Judas has more physical tactics in mind. This clash of ideas and Judas' simmering jealousy conspire with events. As authorities close in, Judas is driven to commit the ultimate act of betrayal"--Producer description.
