The Clarendon Bible (1922-1947) is a book series, published in Oxford [England] by Clarendon.
History
The books on the Old Testament are introductions to the History and Religion of ancient Israel. The Books on the New Testament are commentaries based on the Revised Standard Version.
13 volumes were published between 1963 and 1976. The New Clarendon Bible was initiated in 1963 to update the series.
