New Clarendon Bible (1963-1976) is a book series, published in Oxford [England] by Clarendon.

History

The series was intend to update the Clarendon Bible. Only 11 volumes were published between 1963 and 1976.

The books on the Old Testament are introductions to the History and Religion of ancient Israel. The Books on the New Testament are commentaries based on the Revised Standard Version.
