Der Schatten des Galilaers: Historische Jesusforshung in erzahlender Form <German> / The Shadow of the Galilean (1986) is a novel by Gerd Theissen.

Abstract

Theissen sends his fictional narrator Andreas, a wealthy young grain merchant, through the religious and political options available to a sensitive first-century Jew, and portraits Jesus as a Jewish teacher who was in partial sympathy with the Zealots.
