Natürliche Geschichte des grossen Propheten von Nazareth (1800-1802) is a book by Karl Heinrich Venturini.
Abstract
Similarly to Ausfuhrung des Plans und Zwecks Jesu (1784-1792 Bahrdt), book, Venturini claimed that Jesus was a member of a secret society (the Essenes?). He was not expected, however, to survive the crucifixion, but he did. A member of the sect heard his groans from the tomb and rescued him. After "appearing" to his disciples, Jesus later lived in seclusion.
