Scenes from the Life of Jesus (1865-1879) is a series of 23 paintings by Carl H. Bloch.

Abstract

The Life of Jesus is illustrated in 23 scenes, including:

History and current location

Painted between 1865 and 1879, for the King's Praying Chamber in the newly restored Frederiksborg Castle Chapel (which had been ravaged by fire in 1859).
