Biography
Salomone Papo was born August 8, 1927 in Sarajevo, Bosnia, Yugoslavia.
Salomon, fifteen years old, had reached Nonantola in April 1943 with a group of 34 children from Spalato (Split). Ill with tubercolosis, he was sent to the sanatorium in Gaiato di Pavullo and could not follow the rest of the group on its way to Switzerland.
