Biography

The seven Hirsch siblings were born and lived in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, until 1938. The older siblings survived as refugees in France and then in the United States. Anselm and Jakob were aboard of the SS Mouzinho (June 1941), Flora, Gustl and Benjamin followed with the same ship (Aug-Sept 1941). Parents and two younger siblings perished in the Holocaust, in Estonia.
