Biography

Piero Terracina was born November 12, 1928 in Rome, Italy, to Giovanni Terracina and Lidia Ascoli. He was arrested in Rome on April 7, 1944. He was deported to Fossoli and arrived in Auschwitz on May 23, 1944. At the camp he befriended Sami Modiano from Rhodes. They both survived until liberation.
