Grigor Gjirokastriti (17??–1828), Albanian scholar

Grigor Gjirokastriti (Gregorios of Euboea, Gregory IV of Athens; 17??–1828) was an Albanian scholar, and editor of the first translation of the New Testament into Albanian, which Vangjel Meksi had completed before his death in 1821. Gjirokastriti first published the Gospel of Matthew in 1824 and then the entire New testament in 1827.
