Vangjel Meksi (1770–1821), Albanian scholar

Vangjel Meksi (Evangelos Mexicos; 1770–1821) was an Albanian scholar, physician, philologist and author of the first translation of the New Testament into Albanian, which was posthumously published in 1827, edited by Grigor Gjirokastriti. The Gospel of Matthew was previously published in 1824.
