Le Christ marchant sur les eaux / Christ walking on Water (1899) is a (now lost) short film (silent, B&W), directed by Georges Méliès.

Abstract

One of the first films to be made from the Gospel without using `The Passion Play' theme. Highly admired for its special effects which were in themselves ‘miracles’ for that time period.

Editions

Produced in France (1899).
