The Tübingen critic here moves the study of Paulinism in a new direction by advancing the opinion that Paul developed his system of thought in complete opposition to that of the primitive Christian community. Baur divides early Christianity into two opposed, divergent parties - the Petrine and the Pauline. Abstract
The Tübingen critic here moves the study of Paulinism in a new direction by advancing the opinion that Paul developed his system of thought in complete opposition to that of the primitive Christian community.
