She survived the Nazi occupation of Italy, being hosted for almost two years in a Catholic monastery, disguised as a nun. Mafalda Pavia (1902-1985) was an Italian Jewish author. Born in Milan on December 10, 1902 by Clement and Victorina De Benedetti.
