There was now a global market that included authors of different countries, serving an international audience. From teh scholarly point of view the most significant contribution is that offered by Klausn. His Life of Jesus, written from the perspective of an obeservant Jew, was an attempt to reclaim Jesus to the Jewish orthodox tradition.
