Priscilla & Aquila, wife and husband, were members of the early church and Paul's companions.
Overview
Priscilla and Aquila were among the closest companions of Paul of Tarsus. The Jewish couple came from Rome and settled in Corinth. Paul met them there during Paul's Second Missionary Journey. Their house became the meeting place of the local Christian community. They were tentmakers, like Paul, and had the skill and means to lead the community. Paul mentions them several times in his letters.
