Zeew Kutten (M / Rhodes, 1941), Holocaust survivor

Biography

Zeew Kutten was born March 3, 1941 in Rhodes, Greece [under Italian rule], to Polish refugees Chaim Kutten and Ruth Better. Father and mother were among the passengers of the Pentcho Ship. They arrived at KZ Rhodes on October 18-19, 1940, where Zeew was born. After spending one year as refugees at Rhodes, they were then sent to Ferramonti on March 27, 1942, and then to KZ L'Aquila on August 24, 1943. After Sept 8, 1943, the family remained in hiding until liberation. In August 1944 the family was in Bari, Italy.
