Yehuda Halevi / Judah Ha-Levi (1075/85-1141) was a Spanish Jewish physician, poet and philosopher. Born in Spain, died shortly after arriving in the Land of Israel. Halevi is considered one of the greatest Hebrew poets and philosophers of the Middle Ages.
