Biography
Vera Szondy was born March 4, 1928, in Budapest, Hungary. Her father was the Hungarian-Jewish psychiatrist and psychoanalyst Léopold Szondi. The family escaped on board on the Kastner Train to Switzerland in December 1944, after five months in Bergen-Belsen.
