The Theology of the Acts of the Apostles (1996) is a book by Jacob Jervell.

Abstract

Going against the predominant view, which views Acts as a text penned by a Gentile author who promoted a law-free gospel, Jervell makes a case for the Jewish identity of the author of Luke-Acts and argues that "Luke" affirmed the ongoing significance of Torah praxis (even in its ritual forms) because of the ongoing influential presence of "Christian Jews" within the Jesus movement after 70 C.E.--Isaac W.
