Abstract

"A discovered mss. of the old Alexandria library giving, almost complete, a remarkable and lengthy letter, full, detailed, graphic and apparently truthful account by an eyewitness and friend of Jesus, an elder of the Essene order, to which Jesus belonged, showing Jesus did not die upon the cross but six months later; with much additional and explanatory matter concerning the Essenes and the crucifixion story..

"This document was first discovered sometime in the 1870’s in a building in Alexandria. It was written in ancient Latin and translated into modern German. The document itself has disappeared; its age is not known nor is it known in what tongue the original writing was made. German and Swedish versions of this document were printed and published in the Nineteenth Century. Also an English version. It was republished by John E. Richardson in 1907 and again by the Holmes Book Company in 1919. It has since been out of print." -- Publisher's description.

In reality the book had not being "discovered" in the 1870s; he had been published anonymously in Germany in 1849 with excerpts from Natürliche Geschichte des grossen Propheten von Nazareth (1800-1802 Venturini), book; see Wichtige, historische Enthüllungen über die wirkliche Todesart Jesu (1849 Venturini), arch-fi book.
