The Book of Enoch (1893) is a book by Robert Henry Charles.

Abstract

"Translated [into English] from Professor Dillmann's Ethiopic text, emended and revised in accordance with hitherto uncollated Ethiopic mss. and with the Gizeh and other Greek and Latin fragments which are here published in full: ed., with introduction, notes, appendices, and indices, by R.H. Charles."

Charles' translation laid the foundations for the modern study of 1 Enoch. It was based on Dillmann' edition, yet Charles took into consideration all the new material made available ever since--ten additional Ethiopic mss., the Akmim Greek fragments and the Latin text published by M.R. James.
