Biography

Sulamit Friedmann was born June 8, 1943 in Ferramonti (near Cosenza), Italy, to Slovak refugees Arpad Friedmann and Irene Friedmann. Parents were among the passengers of the Pentcho Ship, arrived at Ferramonti from Rhodes on March 27, 1942. The family was liberated in Ferramonti in Sept 1943. They emigrated to Palestine in May 1944.
